About the Race
Iron Lung Ride, Ogden Valley, UT, 34, 80, or 100 mile options out and back starting in Huntsville with a solid climb up Old Snowbasin Road, down Trappers Loop, through Morgan and out to the top of Big Mountain. Challenging climbing, with plenty of rollers and flats to recover.
Utah Triple Crank qualifier, along with LOTOJA and Huntsman Sportfest.

Iron Lung is an official qualifier for the prestigious Utah Triple Crank challenge, alongside LOTOJA and Huntsman Sportfest. Complete all three events to earn your Triple Crank distinction and join an elite group of endurance cyclists.
The Utah Triple Crank award recognizes those who successfully finish the Huntsman SportsFest, Iron Lung Ride, and LoToJa all in the same year! That's almost 450 miles! Are you ready to test your mettle?

Packet Pick-up
Packet pick-up will be at HANGAR 15 South Jordan location on Wednesday the 15th from 5-7 pm. At The Bike Shoppe, 4390 Washington Blvd, Ogden, on Thursday night July 16th from 4:00-6:00pm. Late packet pick-up will be at the start line at 5:15-5:45 am on the 18th of July. Please bring a picture ID to pick up your packet.
Start Line
The start line will be located west of the Huntsville Park, on 7400 E., between 300 S. and 200 S. in Huntsville Utah. Parking is located at the church west of the Start/Finish line, 277 S. 7400 E. We will start the ride promptly at 6:00am/7:00am.
Finish Line
This is an Out and Back ride, so the start and finish location is the same. After your ride, relax and enjoy a meal, visit the local square, and celebrate your achievement with family and friends. Additional meals can be purchased at the start/finish line for $12. Parking for riders will be located at the Church west of the Start/Finish line, located at 277 S. 7400 E. Enter parking from the south.
Single Rider and Relay Instructions
Individual riders will have three distances to choose from:
- • 34 mile course will go to exchange zone 1 and back ($110)
- • 80 mile course will go past exchange zone 2 to the 80 mile marker and back, 4 miles past the East Canyon Dam. There is a H2O station at this point ($120)
- • 100 mile course will go to exchange 3 and back ($120)
2 person relay teams:
The 100 mile course is divided into 6 legs separated by exchange zones. Each team member should ride 3 legs of their choice. $110 per rider
Tandem teams:
100 mile course ($190)
Water Stations
Water stations will be located at each exchange zone approximately every 20 miles. Exchange zones will have snacks but pack your own nutrition. You know your needs.
